Inflation this year is 2.4% and its annual level reached 5.6 percent in March compared with 5.2% in February, according to the National Statistics Institute (NSI). Only a month in our life is
appreciated by 0.6 per cent. Estimates of Bloomberg inflation in Bulgaria rose to the highest level of February 2009, a growth due to rising fuel and food in the poorest EU country. The average annual appreciation for the period April 2010 – March 2011 compared to the period April 2009 – March 2010 is 3.5%, it is clear from the published statistical data.
